im not really proud of this but i gotta get it out. I thought id b able to see more jobs in here, but i guess not. its a good a idea, but its poorly executed.
Thx alot! yes he did. Dunno if therell ever be anyone who can do what he did with apple so i wanted to make a strong image. i just wish i could have finished the idea instead of sketchin sumthin out real quick ya know.
well, some times less is more. Your image is so complete in my opinion because I can easily fill all my emotions of Steve into it. It's a great piece of work!
I dig the idea, always a fan of Atlas references. Keep it up. I can't really submit critiques since I'm not a full member, but maybe I can post a few suggestions here?
I'd recommend offsetting the apple a bit, making it tilt in one direction to show its weight off. Maybe even have Jobs leaning forward more a bit to show the strain.
I thought the color scheme you chose for it however was pretty interesting. Maybe reduce the line noise, e.g., the complication of all the shading and sketches along his body, on Jobs and focus on accentuating his facial expression?
thx for the critique - bettering my artwork is the whole point of dA to me so any and all comments are welcome now that u mention it, it does look a bit stagnant. offsetting the both of them would help. as an animator i should know these things off rip lol yea in my head i thought the focus would b on jobs like i intended, but i SEVERELY underestimated the size of the apple logo. so i shifted gears and went old school - since the logo took up more space i was gonna make it sumthin cool to look at and brightened the heck out of it with colors. that wasnt in the plan to start. then i was really mad when i realized i couldnt get detail on jobs - human antaomy is the bomb to me so doing distance characters isnt fun. i could have fixed that with a worms eye 3 qtr view, but then i'd loose the apple logo. so i settled.
thats y i said i wasnt too proud of this one but the idea is still there, still cool. i wish i can spend more time on it but chances are i wont. thanks again man gor realz
that man literally hold up Apple and the entire dream!
